KINERGETIX for HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Integrating Eastern Mind-Body Therapies with Western Exercise Science

Upskill your practice with a 6‑module online certification that teaches how to restore mobility, balance and neuro‑energetic coherence from the inside out.

Kinergetix Movement Therapy (KMT)

Kinergetix Movement Therapy (KMT) gives health professionals, trainers and coaches a scientifically grounded way to blend Eastern mind‑body principles with modern rehabilitation.
You’ll learn how to activate the body’s nervous, circulatory and respiratory systems to improve function, reduce stress and create lasting results for your clients.

What You'll Learn

•  Assess functional capacity, balance and coordination through a neurological lens.
•  Integrate Eastern movement concepts safely into Western therapy.
•  Build custom routines using breath timing, stability and awareness.
•  Apply partner assisted drills and PNF‑inspired techniques for mobility and gait rehab.
•  Teach clients how to self‑regulate and maintain progress between sessions.

KMT - 21c rehab strategies

Traditional rehabilitation focuses on structure. KMT focuses on the system that governs structure.
By merging Eastern fluidity with Western rigour, KMT offers a language of movement rooted in neuroplasticity.
KMT routines use real‑world movement patterns, not gym machines.
No esotericism — only methods that translate into evidence‑aligned practice.

“Movement is communication with the nervous system — train the message, not just the muscle.” – David Labuschagne

FAQ

THE MASTER KEY TO SUCCESS - WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

  • Technique. The exercises are simple (but stimulating), safe, stress-free. But to master the exercises it's essential that they are performed exactly as per the instructions. The point is - practice doesn't make perfect; only perfect practice does. So, please pay close attention.
  • Equipment. You need: a computer to track your progress and play back the videos; an internet link; and access to Zoom for feedback sessions; and a few square meters of floor space to strut your stuff. Aside from that you don’t need any special equipment (you were born with it).
  • How long will it take? Approx. 6 weeks at 2–3 hours per week.

The range of rehabilitation and disease / disability prevention modalities presented within exercise physiology and physiotherapy courses are limited and largely biased towards traditional gym-style exercises, viz., hypertrophy, stretching, and aerobic routines. Whilst these approaches are appropriate for addressing musculoskeletal disability, particularly at a sub-acute stage, their utility is limited for effectively managing, resolving, and preventing chronic and/or complex conditions. In addition to treatments aimed at underlying impairments, I believe that interventions are required for improving mobility, gait strategies, functional performance, cognition, and stress reduction.  And this is where the Kinergetix modality and it’s application in the Kinergy Movement Therapy (KMT) programs is an invaluable tool for Health Practitioners, Therapists and Personal Trainers.
